We have had many of our friends/colleagues and relatives enjoy the delights of Mauritius; it is an island of contrasts with striking rocks forming steep gorges and jagged hills that give way to beautiful, reef protected beaches, lapped by warm lagoons. Lush sugar cane plantations swathe the hillsides with friendly locals who are always warm and welcoming to visitors.
